A dense crowd at the Cova da Iria turns its gaze to the sun on 13 October 1917. Glass-plate negative (120x90 mm) attributed by the editors to Judah Bento Ruah; published in "Ilustração Portuguesa" (29 Oct. 1917) and the Madrid "ABC" (19 Oct. 1917). Printed across two pages of Ilustração Portuguesa no. 610 as “4. The crowd, pressing around the site of the miracle, where a rustic portico can be seen, begins to look at the sky, waiting for God's sign”.
