I was on the heath at Fátima on the 13th just past; I witnessed all the marvellous events that took place at the moment of the apparition, and came home soaked in mud and water, but satisfied [and] happy, as were the people who accom-[1v]panied me.

Estive na charneca da Fátima, no passado dia 13 presenceei todos os factos maravilhosos que se deram no momento da apparição, regressei a casa enxarcada em lama e agua mas satisfeita [e] contente assim como as pessôas que me acom-[1v]panharam.

I beg Your Reverence to be so kind as to tell me whether the little girl seers remembered my request at the moment of the apparition, and whether they prayed for the needs set out in the registered letter that I sent to Your Reverence on the 4th of this month².

Rogo a V. R^cia a fineza de me dizer se as pequeninas videntes se lembraram do meu pedido no momento da apparição e se pediram pelas necessidades apontadas na carta registada que enviei a V. Re^cia no dia 4 do corrente mez².

I anxiously await the favour of your reply.

Aguardo anciosa o favôr da sua resposta.

For the building of the Chapel I enclose the first alms: 2:500^*
