Em tudo isto, porem, parece que teve grande influencia no povo o dictado certissimo — quod volumus facile credimus (o que não quer dizer que me atrêva a negar porque não estava lá e d'isso tenho bem pena) porque algumas pessôas instruidas e ponderadas cômo Mario Mourão, o Poças e outras de cá me disseram que não houve prova sufficiente de sobrenaturalidade e isto ... para não dizerem que nada tinham visto, o que eu ouvi tambem a outras pessôas.
