We were at this when some men turned up, very happy, saying that Our Lady had appeared. I at once took leave of the priests and went back up. The roads were already full of those people commenting on the resounding event. I asked each group what they had seen and in less than no time I found myself surrounded by all those people, who with a great deal of shouting told me that they had heard a clap of thunder and everyone had run away; then, coming back, they saw a cloud come down, blue and white, [3v] which shortly rose and disappeared. Others said they had seen a flash of lightning, and there was a poor little woman who, with tears in her eyes, said, utterly convinced, that she had seen Our Lady; in short, everyone was satisfied
