Ex^mo Sn^r Administrador do Concelho de Vila Nova de Ourem.

I acknowledge receipt of Your Excellency's letter No. 1233, in which Your Excellency tells me that the agricultural officer^* told you that nine holm-oak shrubs had been cut down, not one. I had had enquiries made and was told that it was one, but now I went in person to check and really saw that it was nine and not one, as I had informed Your Excellency. ^cia.

Acuso a receção do oficio de V Ex^cia Nº 1233, em que V. Ex^cia me diz que o regente agricula, lhe disse que eram nove e não uma carrasqueira as cortadas eu tinha mandado indagar, e disseram-me que era uma, mas agora fui pessoalmente verificar e realmente vi que eram as nove e não uma como tinha informado V Ex ^cia.
