That day many people went from here to Fátima to see the miracle of the apparition of Our Lady, but nobody saw anything; and at nig[h]t, on the way home, over at Calçadas, in a brawl, Bernardino da Freiria was knifed, and so was the son of the Ferreiro* of Martinel4.

N'esse dia foi d'aqui muita gente á Fatima, para ver o milagre da aparição de N. Senhora, mas ninguem vio nada; e á no[i]te ao recolher ali ás Calçadas em uma dezordem derão uma facada no Bernardino da Freiria, e outra no filho do Ferreiro da Martinel4.
