I had the great happiness of going to Fatima, with the greatest of obstacles right up to the end, but everything was overcome, and I went. I shall never forget it!! There were upwards of 50,000 people, and with what respect and devotion.

Men by the thousands. Of course no one [2] saw Our Ldy except the 3 little ones, but what everyone saw was the golden light that fell on all the people during Our Lady's stay on earth. Imagine, it was raining buckets, but at 2 o'clock on the dot the sun appeared, and then there were the most extraordinary lights possible. Our Lady said that she was the Lady of the Rosary, who came to bring peace, that [3] the war would end this very year and that we would soon have our soldiers back here. That a Chapel should be made for her there, that we should pray the rosary (5 decades) a great deal, and that we should mend our ways because we have greatly offended God!!! You can imagine the impression it all made. The 3 little ones never contradict themselves and are as innocent and simple as can be.

[4] I shall never forget the cry of all those people to Our Ldy, and the devotion with which they prayed.

Nunca me esquecerei!!
