Dr. F. and many fellow-countrymen of mine affirm that they saw it too. Some of these , whose seriousness it is not permissible to call into/ doubt, assure us they made out a kind of flowers, which were falling from the sky, but did not touch the ground, disappearing on reaching a certain height.

O Dr. F. e muitos patrícios meus afirmam que também o viram. Alguns destes cuja seriedade não é lícito pôr em/ dúvida, asseguram ter distinguido uma espécie de flores, que caíam do céu, mas não tocavam no chão desaparecendo ao chegarem a certa altura.
