4th witness – António Maria Menitra6, married, landowner, resident in the hamlet of Reguengo do Fetal, questioned about the events that took place on 13 October at Fátima, said: that it having rained torrentially in the morning, a little after noon the rain stopped and he observed that a great multitude of people was looking at the sun on their knees, and he looked too and saw different colours in the sun and on the people. And he said no more and signs his deposition.

4a testemunha – António Maria Menitra6, casado, proprietário, morador no lugar do Reguengo do Fetal, interrogado sobre os factos ocorridos no dia 13 de outubro em Fátima, disse: que tendo chovido torrencialmente de manhã, um pouco depois do meio dia, parou a chuva e observou que uma grande multidão de povo, de joelhos olhava para o sol, e olhou também e viu diferentes cores no sol e no povo. E mais não disse e assina o seu depoimento.

6 He was born in Reguengo do Fetal on 6 June 1879. Son of José Maria Gomes Menitra and of Joaquina de Jesus. He married Ana Soares. He died on 20 May 1941.
