5th Apparition: 13-9-917 – I called Lúcia before me on the 15th, and she said that on the 13th she saw the same woman dressed in white who seemed to her to be the same one she saw the other times; she saw little more than the face, at which she looked continually so as to pay attention to what she was saying; she comes from the east; she says she saw a flash of lightning, then she saw that woman arrive at the holm-oak shrub, and she says that she asked:

– What is it you want?

– I want to tell you to go on always saying the rosary to Our Lady of the Rosary, that she may ease the war, for the war is about to end1; on the last day Saint Joseph will come to give peace to the world and Our Lord to give the blessing to the people; that you come here for 13 October.

– Here is this little boy who is dumb and deaf, will you make him better.

– A year from now he would find himself somewhat better.

– I had many requests here, some for you to convert them, others for you to make them better.

– I will make some better, others not, because Our Lord does not want to believe in them.

– The people would very much like a little chapel here.

– With half the money they have collected up to today let them make the litters and give them to Our Lady of the Rosary; let the other half be to help with the little chapel.

I offered her two letters and a glass of scented water.

– They gave me this, do you want them.

– That is not fitting for up in heaven.

And she went off towards the east, and I said to the people: if you want to see her, turn that way.
