Francisco, when asked to reveal the secret, declared that even if they killed him he could not tell it. It happened several times that they were questioned and offered riches to tell it, and they answered that even if they were offered the whole world they could not tell it.

O Francisco, pedindo-se-lhe para revelar o segredo, declarou que nem que o matassem o poderia dizer. Aconteceu por várias vezes serem interrogados e oferecerem-lhes riquezas para o dizerem e eles respondiam que nem que lhes oferecessem o mundo inteiro o poderiam dizer.
