On 27 September I heard that prediction from the mouths of the children and on 13 October I saw the sign and saw that all the people believed.
Fui á Fatima e, como toda a gente, menos o Pinto Coelho, que, alem de ser um tanto vaidoso, tem a mania de se singularizar em tudo, vi o phenomeno solar e convenci-me de que era naturalmente inexplicavel como como cumprimento de profecia feita seis meses antes e como milagre em si mesmo, ao menos quoad modum.

Em 27 de Setembro ouvi essa predição da bocca das creanças e a 13 de Outubro vi o signal e vi que todo o povo acreditou.
