According to the statements of the seer Lúcia de Jesus, who had prophesied months in advance a threefold apparition of the Most Holy Virgin for the thirteenth of October, nineteen hundred and seventeen, the Queen of Heaven manifested herself on that memorable day successively under three different titles, that of the Rosary, that of Sorrows and that of Carmel.

Segundo as declarações da vidente Lúcia de Jesus, profetizara com meses de antecedência uma tríplice aparição da Santíssima Virgem, no dia treze de outubro de mil novecentos e dezassete, a Rainha do Céu manifestou-se nesse dia memorável sucessivamente sob três invocações diferentes, a do Rosário, a das Dores e a do Carmo.
