Uma vez, durante as aparições, tendo a Lúcia perguntado à misteriosa Senhora que lhe falava, se ela e a Jacinta iriam para o Céu, e obtendo resposta afirmativa, fez idêntica pergunta acerca do Francisco, respondendo a Visão que também lhe caberia tamanha ventura, mas que primeiro havia de rezar muitas vezes o terço. Desde esse momento até adoecer, o ditoso vidente nunca mais deixou passar um dia sem oferecer essa singela homenagem à Rainha do Céu.
