Only there did we learn that the three children, natives of Aljustrel, a small village in the parish of Fatima, said that a Lady appeared to them on the 13th of each month, spoke with them, answered their questions, and urged them to pray the rosary and offer it to Our Lady of the Rosary.

Só ali soubemos, que as trez creanças, naturaes de Aljustrel, pequena povoação da freguezia da Fatima, diziam que uma Senhora lhes apparecia no dia 13 de cada mez, fallava com ellas, respondia ás suas perguntas, e lhes recommendava que rezassem o terço e o offerecessem á Senhora do Rosario.
