On 13 October she was near the children when the apparition took place. From the place where I was I saw them very well. As soon as they arrived, they prayed the rosary, the confession and the act of contrition. Meanwhile the people pressed in more and more [2], so much so that the children were in danger of being crushed, in spite of the efforts made by the people around them to hold back that wave. Everyone wanted to see and hear from close up, which was impossible. Jacintha, distracted and very frightened, was crying because of the shoves she was getting. Lucia stroked her and asked her not to cry, because nobody would hurt her. Francisco too was distracted because of the people. Suddenly Lucia told him to look at the holm-oak shrub. The little girl's face became lovelier than it was, turning rosy, and her lips grew thinner. Then I heard her ask this question: What is it you want? You said that today, which is 13 October, you would tell me what you wanted. She was silent for a moment and then added: “Very well, but if you don't work some mira-[3]cle the people will say it is a lie.” Then she was silent for a little. Next she said: “But what am I to ask? I would ask you to save all these people and take them to Heaven and to cure these sick people.” At that moment many people were asking. I do not know whom the little girl was referring to. She also said the following: “I have come here to speak a good few times now and I never asked you what your name was”. After hearing the answer she said: “it is the Lady of the Rosary.” Then, leaning towards her mother, who was nearby, but without turning towards the people, she said more loudly: “Our Lady says to look at the sun, that she wants to manifest herself in the heavenly bodies. ” It is then that Jacintha exclaims: “My mother from Heaven is going away now, look where she's going!” The little boy in turn says: “I can't see her any more! ” Jacintha answered him: “**She's right straight in line with the

Nesta occasião estava muita gente a pedir.
